The structure of DNA is a double helix

DNA is like the paper for a text written with the 4 letters A, T, C and G. The structure of DNA is a double helix, where Adenine pairs with Thymine and Cytosine pairs with Guanine. This knowledge started the molecular biology revolution (1953). Today many biologists do 'sequencing', i.e. read DNA sequences, routinely.
